Mahama has sweet tongue but can’t perform like Nana Addo – Wontumi
When it comes to raising people’s hopes high with false promises, the Ashanti regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party has rated former President Mahama higher than any political figure in the history of Ghana.
Mr. Bernard Antwi-Boasiako is cautioning voters to be vigilant and reject promises being touted by the flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress as we prepare to vote in 2020.
He maintains that when “it comes to sweet talking, Mahama is the world best because he has a sweet tongue but when it comes to discharging duties as President, he is at the bottom whereas Nana Akufo-Addo is at the top with the best leaders in the world”.
Former president John Mahama has stated that he has plans to transform Ghana.
In a Facebook post, the former president indicated that he has learnt his lessons and is he coming back to lay a solid foundation for the development of Ghana.
“I have been there, I have experienced it, I have learnt useful lessons, I have reviewed issues and events, and I am coming back to you, together with my party, the NDC, with what will be a practical strategy for laying a solid foundation for the transformation of our country.
This manifesto will be different. It will be a manifesto that will be the conclusion of a long, detailed and consultative process involving broad interactions with our people, incorporating their concerns, their hopes and their aspirations”.
However, the NPP scribe popularly known as Chairman Wontumi responded to Mr. John Mahama’s comeback message stating that voters would massively reject him just like it was done in 2016.
According to Chairman Wontumi, giving candidate Mahama a chance in 2020 would be equal to lowering the standard and quality of personalities needed to rule Ghana.
“Giving candidate Mahama a chance in future would amount to lowering the standard and quality in personalities needed to rule a great nation like Ghana. We can’t afford to give him a chance. Nana Akufo-Addo and Dr. Bawumia are quality materials and they the calibre of materials Ghana needs to be our President”.
