Mohammed Kudus picks new agency as transfer talk from West Ham heats up

Ghana midfielder Mohammed Kudus has given the latest indication of a potential move as transfer talk linking him to a move from West Ham United heats up.

The Black Stars player has switched agency by joining ROOF (Representatives of Outstanding Footballers), a football players’ agency outfit.

This is according to Sun Sports’ Rahman Osman who reported the news on Monday, June 23 ahead of a pivotal moment in the Kudus Mohammed transfer chatter.

Kudus has a 10 day release clause period that is active from July 1 to July 10 with English Premier League clubs expected to pay 85 million pounds to trigger the release clause.

On the other hand, clubs in the Saudi Pro League would have to pay a whopping 125 million pounds to trigger Kudus’ release clause.

ROOF represents players like Virgil Van Dijk, Kai Havertz, Serge Gnabry and Marc-Andre Ter Stegen; Van Dijk recently signed a lucrative deal worth up to 400,000 pounds a week to stay for two seasons with Liverpool.

Kudus recently completed his second season at West Ham and for the second straight season topped the EPL list of players with the most dribbles completed.

The 24 year old had five goals and three assists in 35 games in all competitions in the 2024-2025 season.
