Mpox cases rise to 782 in Ghana
Ghana has recorded 38 new cases of Mpox, bringing the total number of confirmed infections to 782, according to the Ghana Health Service (GHS).
The latest update, released on October 24, 2025, shows that the death toll remains at three, with no patients currently hospitalised.
Health officials say vaccination campaigns are still ongoing in selected communities in the Western Region, as part of efforts to contain the spread of the disease.
Mpox, a viral infection that spreads mainly through close contact with an infected person, often presents symptoms such as fever, rash, headache, muscle aches, swollen lymph nodes, chills, and tiredness.
The GHS is calling on the public to be vigilant and seek medical attention at the first sign of illness.
