Nominees for the 2020/21 NASCO (GPL) Coach, Player of the season revealed

The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has revealed a shortlist of coaches and players who excelled in the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League season for the NASCO GPL Coach and Player of the Season award.

Coach of the Season

Premier League winner Samuel Boadu was nominated alongside Great Olympics’ coach Annor Walker, Mariano Baretto of Asante Kotoko, Dreams FC’s Vladislav Viric and WAFA’s Prosper Narteh Ogum.

The five players are in contention for the season’s best are GPL top scorer Diawisie Taylor, WAFA’s Augustine Boakye, Gladson Awako and Hearts of Oak duo Benjamin Afutu and Ibrahim Salifu.

Both winners will be announced at a brief presentation ceremony at the head office of Electroland Ghana Limited (NASCO) on Monday, August 30 at 6 pm.

The winner of the coach category will receive a shopping voucher worth GHc8000 and a personalized trophy while the player of the season receives a shopping voucher worth GHc5000, an all-expenses-paid weekend stay at the Alisa Hotel and a personalized trophy.
