NPP doesn’t tolerate criticism – A Plus

Source The Ghana Report/ Aba Asamoah

Musician and political activist, A Plus has accused the Nana Addo-led government of not being able to tolerate criticism.

According to him, the NPP harasses people who criticize their government, something the erstwhile Mahama administration did not do.

He said, Former President Mahama during his tenure was very tolerant of criticism

“The day John Mahama lost his mother was the same day Investigative Journalist, Manasseh Awuni Azure, released his Ford Expedition investigative video about the President…… a day when the man was mourning his dead mother but Manasseh was hailed like a hero yet the man (John Mahama) did not harass him……even me upon all the things I said about him and his government prior to the 2016 general elections, the man still picks up my calls, he talks to me when he meets me and all that but the NPP will come after you if you criticize them, why?” he quizzed.

The NPP, he said, prefers a culture of silence …”because they are in power, they have rendered Joy FM, Multimedia as an noncredible news outlet.”

“Today because the NPP is in power, the say Multimedia, Joy FM is not credible, nobody should speak in this country, everybody should sleep because they are in power…. everything the NPP does is good… they should learn to speak the truth because heaven is real,” he said.

He advised Ghanaians to begin to be critical of the government and  politicians as a whole.
