Olivetheboy releases star-dubbed EP “Out of the Blue” featuring Sarkodie, Mayorkun
Ghanaian Afrobeats sensation, Olivetheboy, has officially released a brand-new EP titled “Out of the Blue”, stirring excitement across the African music scene and beyond.
The eight-track project, featuring top goons in the music industry, follows the success of his Avana deluxe EP, which included the hit single Asylum—nominated for “Most Popular Song” at the 2024 Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA).
“Out of the Blue“ reaffirms Olivetheboy’s reputation as one of the continent’s most promising voices, blending Afrobeats with soulful melodies and modern pop rhythms.
The EP features a diverse line-up of African stars, including Ghanaian rap icon Sarkodie on Bend, Nigerian hitmaker Mayorkun on A Fuul, the rising Qing Madi on Survivor, Soundz on Design, and Veola on Convo.
Tracks like Bend and Tattoo are already trending across social media platforms, with fans and music lovers praising the singer’s unique sound and storytelling ability.
The artist is expected to embark on a tour across the UK, Europe, and the United States in support of the new project.
Born Joel Ofori Bonsu, Olivetheboy is signed to Columbia Records through Loop Music. He was Ghana’s most-streamed artist in 2023, with Asylum becoming one of the most-played songs in the country by early 2024.
