The Presbyterian Boys Senior High School (PRESEC), Legon, has won the 2022 edition of the National Science and Maths Quiz (NSMQ) for a record seven times.
They defeated closest contenders Prempeh College, as Adisadel College placed third in the finals of the competition.
At the end of the fifth round, PRESEC amassed 50 points against 41 by Prempeh College and 32 points by Adisadel College.
PRESEC has been aiming for the seventh win, but Prempeh denied them in 2021.
It will come as sweet revenge as PRESEC also prevented Prempeh from a sixth win which would have placed the two schools level in the history of the competition.
