Ransford-Yeboah Königsdörffer set for Ligue 1 adventure with Nice
Ghanaian forward Ransford-Yeboah Königsdörffer is on the verge of completing a move to Ligue 1, with OGC Nice finalizing a €6 million deal potentially rising to €7 million for the 23-year-old from Hamburger SV.

A full agreement has been reached between the clubs, and Königsdörffer is set to undergo his medical today, with a contract running until at least 2029.
His transfer helps fund HSV’s €8 million pursuit of Hoffenheim defender Stefan Posch, as Königsdörffer enters the final year of his contract.
The striker was instrumental in HSV’s 2024/25 promotion campaign, scoring 14 goals and adding 3 assists in 34 appearances including a decisive brace against Ulm that sealed Bundesliga return.
Previously named in Ghana’s preliminary squad for the 2022 World Cup, Königsdörffer’s growing reputation fits Nice’s recent focus on Bundesliga talent.
