Red Panther Record Label Officially Signs Two Afro-Dancehall Artists

Popular Ghanaian entertainment pundit and music talent manager Emmanuel Barnes known as Mr. Logic, has officially signed two Afro-dancehall artists, Richard Acheampong a.k.a TIPGY Hiriim, and Monique Spence a.k.a Mo Spence, onto his Red Panther record label.

According to Mr. Logic, the two artists have been signed for five years.

Addressing the press on the management’s decision to sign other new Afro-dancehall performers, Mr. Logic said, “We initiated the reggae dancehall revolution, so I understand what reggae dancehall and afro-dancehall mean… When I came, I didn’t do reggae dancehall, I did reggae afro-dancehall… When people came on my show, they were singing in Twi, Ewe, and all kinds of dialects, and it made sense compared to those who were trying to sing in patois.”

He continued to say that he will go the extra mile to make his new signees superstars in the entertainment industry.

TIPGY Hiriim is a graduate of the University of Ghana, Legon. TIPGY Hiriim recently won the overall Dancehall Artist of the Year at the Ashanti Music Awards. Hailing from Obuasi, TIPGY Hiriim is recognized as one of the best budding AfroDancehall artists in Kumasi.

TIPGY Hiriim is currently on a media tour to throw more light on his journey with the Red Panther record label and what Ghanaians should be expecting from him.

Mo Spence moreover is an Afrobeats and Afro-dancehall artist born to both African and Caribbean parents. The new female artiste has assured her fans and the general public to expect nothing more than the best as she delves into the music industry.

Some media personalities and celebrities who witnessed the signing included the former manager of Shatta Wale, Bulldog, Sammy Flex, Abeiku Santana, Arnold Asamoah-Baidoo, and Counselor Lutterodt.

Other dancehall artists Mr. Logic has groomed and managed include Shatta Wale, the late Vybrant Faya, Jupiter, Epixode, AK Songstress, Mishasha, and Kahpun.
