Ride on ingenuity and creativity to change the African continent – Sammi Awuku
The National Organizer of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Sammi Awuku has advised participants of African Students and Alumni Forum (ASAF) to ride on ingenuity and creativity to brighten the future and to change the African continent.
Sammi Awuku believes doing this will help develop their creative abilities to serve the interest of the African continent.
Addressing participants at the launch of the maiden edition of ASAF regional workshop in Accra, Sammi Awuku stressed on the significance of utilizing their voice and networks to serve the interests of their respective countries.
“Participants must ride on their ingenuity and creativity to brighten every corner they find themselves and utilise their networks to serve the interest of the African continent and their respective countries whilst building their entrepreneurial abilities, ” he indicated.
He then expressed his gratitude to the organizers for providing a forum and giving a voice to students and the youth across the African continent.
Other speakers at the event were the Head of European Union delegation to Ghana, Ambassador Diana Acconcia, Professor Etienne Ehouan Ehile, Secretary General Association of African Universities, Ms. Antoaneta Angelova-Krasteva, the Director for Innovation, International Cooperation and Sports, European Commission , Mr Bismark Amefianu of the All African Students Union and Cosmas Kombat, Co-Lead, African Students and Alumni Forum (ASAF).
