Season of back-to-back congratulations – Mercy Chinwo celebrates Lionel Messi’s World Cup victory

Famous Nigerian gospel singer, Mercy Chinwo, has congratulated the newly-crowned world champion, Lionel Messi.

Chinwo took to her social media page to celebrate the Argentine player following his victory at the 2022 World Cup Final.

Recall that Messi won the World Cup after Argentina saw off France on penalties, claiming the glory for the first time since 1986.

The gospel minister in a post via her official Instagram page, congratulated Messi, expressing that he is truly blessed.

She wrote, “Messi Mercy is blessed oh. It is a season of back-to-back CONGRATULATIONS for you and yours.

“Congratulations Messi Chukwu @leomessi aka THEGOAT, we love you.”

The PSG superstar also won the Golden Ball award after being named the competition’s top player.
