Strongman releases ‘Fix it’ to support #FixGhanaNow protestors

Rapper Strongman has waded into the ongoing online protests against economic hardship and underdevelopment in Ghana.

Using his talent to add to the protests for better governance, Strongman hit the studios to release a ‘Fix it’ track.

In the 2minute and 11 seconds song, Strongman is asking government officials to set their priorities right.

“The air condition in the MP’s V8 is cooler than the weather in Russia,” he rapped.

Born Vincent Kwaku Osei, Strongman wants the leaders to exhibit nationalism in the discharge of their service to the country.

“President fix yourself, me too I will fix myself, the country will fix itself,” he added in the song.

Two weeks ago, a social media influencer, KalyJay, started a hashtag ‘FixTheCountry’ on Twitter to vent his frustration after the government announced price hikes in fuel and telecommunication services.

The price increase is happening at a time of frequent power cuts with an expected power rationing in the coming days.

The protesters hold the view that President Akufo-Addo and his appointees have failed in addressing the needs of Ghanaians.

F**k yeah the government has to fix itself,he should see it as an opportunity rather than people not loyal to his government. One more time it’s a opportunity he should be thankful.
