Thomas Frank’s ability to develop players was part of the reason I joined Spurs- Mohammed Kudus

Tottenham Hotspurs’ newly signed midfielder Mohammed Kudus has stated that having Thomas Frank as manager was one of the main reasons why he decided to join the club.

He said this in his first interview as a Spurs player after completing a six year, 55 million pound deal from West Ham United.

Kudus’ signing has been widely hailed as a great acquisition for Spurs with the Ghanaian being one of the most creative players in world football and the 24 year old believes Thomas Frank’s ability to develop players judging by his work at Brentford convinced him to join Spurs.

“One of the most important parts of why I came here is the project and how the manager sees it, and to develop under him. With the history of where he’s come from, I’ve seen the amount of talent he’s developed to become great players. It’s a big sign of why I wanted to work under him as well.”
