Tyla serves flirty, addictive vibes on new single, “Bliss”

South African pop star Tyla has made a triumphant return with a brand-new single, “Bliss”, released today (9 May 2025).

This marks her first major release since her acclaimed self-titled debut album in 2024.

Previewed earlier during her Coachella 2025 performance, “Bliss” sees Tyla embracing a breezy, summer-ready sound, fusing infectious pop melodies with her signature sultry vocals.

Produced by Nolan Lambroza, Dylan Wiggins, and the Grammy-winning duo Nova Wav, the track radiates light-hearted charm and playful energy.

“You take me to bliss, never found a love like this,” she sings in the chorus — a euphoric ode to new love. The song has been described by fans and critics alike as a “smooth, addictive ride”, poised to become one of this summer’s standout anthems.

In a unique twist, Tyla has also partnered with popular wellness retailer Erewhon to launch a special “Bliss” smoothie.

Made with organic hibiscus tea, mango, pineapple, vanilla collagen, and dragonfruit coconut cream, the drink mirrors the tropical, feel-good essence of the song.

“Bliss” is available on all major streaming platforms, with the official audio already racking up views on YouTube.

Following her first career GRAMMY victory in 2024 — ”Water” for ‘Best African Music Performance’ — Tyla has received nods at the BET Awards, MTV VMAs, MTV Europe Awards, and a plethora of others.
