Very difficult for Legon Cities to escape relegation from Ghana League- Kwame Dwomoh Agyemang

Communications Director of Legon Cities Football Club, Kwame Dwomoh Agyemang, has confessed that it is “technically very difficult” for the club to beat relegation from the 2024-2025 Ghana Premier League season.

He made this known in an exclusive chat with Citi Sports that had him speak on the club’s decision to part ways with then head coach Joachim Yaw Acheampong. (Click highlighted text to read full story)

Legon Cities rank 17th in the 18 team league standings with 25 points but sit seven points behind 16th ranked Accra Lions with four games left to play.

“At this point, it’s a very tough battle. We still have only four matches to go, it’s technically a very difficult one…obviously it’s a big ask at this point but it’s still technically 12 points available and if we get results in all the games…then probably we stand a chance of surviving” Dwomoh Agyemang said.
