A resurfaced surveillance video has captured the moment American music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs violently assaulted singer and former partner Cassie Ventura in a Los Angeles hotel hallway.
The incident, which reportedly occurred in 2016, shows Diddy shoving, dragging, and kicking Cassie near an elevator. The footage, obtained and released by CNN, has since gone viral, sparking widespread condemnation and renewed conversations about abuse within the entertainment industry.
The video’s release comes months after Cassie filed a lawsuit in 2023, accusing Diddy of years of physical and emotional abuse. That case was settled out of court, but the video has brought renewed focus to the allegations.
Diddy has since posted a public apology on social media, describing his actions in the video as “inexcusable” and stating he was “disgusted” by his past behavior.
Authorities have not yet confirmed whether the video could result in fresh legal action.
