(VIDEO) Kofi Adomah delivers blow-by-blow account of his traumatic eye injury

Kofi Adomah Nwanwanii, a well-known Ghanaian journalist, has broken his silence regarding the eye injury he sustained while on assignment in Dormaa in the Bono Region.

Speaking publicly for the first time since the incident, Kofi Adomah addressed the media from his home in Oyarifa, Accra.

He used the opportunity to clarify the events that led to the injury, provide an update on his recovery, and respond to public concerns.

Recalling the traumatic experience, Kofi Adomah expressed his gratitude for the support he’s received throughout this challenging time.

He explained that the incident began when he received an invitation from the Dormaahene to cover the Kwafie Festival.

Although he wasn’t feeling well upon arriving, he decided to proceed with the coverage.

“While covering the event, I received a call from someone who mentioned other parts of the festival I should document. As I moved towards that location, I was suddenly shot at by a gunman, and blood started oozing from my eye,” Kofi Adomah shared.
