Finance Minister Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson has presented the 2025 Budget Statement and Economic Policy to Parliament today, March 11, 2025.
This marks the first comprehensive financial roadmap of the Mahama administration since assuming office.
This significant presentation is in accordance with Article 179 of the 1992 Constitution and Section 21 (3) of the Public Financial Management Act, 2016, (Act 921).
The budget outlined bold policy measures the incumbent government intends to use to stabilise the economy, foster growth, and address the nation’s fiscal challenges.
