Whether she stays or leaves, my church stands – Agradaa on Attaa Maame’s exit
Evangelist Patricia Asieduaa, popularly known as Agradaa, has responded to a viral interview in which a former church member revealed why she left her ministry.
The woman, Attaa Maame, who was a member of Agradaa’s Heaven Way Church for three years, shared on Penpensiwa with Obomengniibaa Nana Akua on AsaasePa that although she believed Agradaa had truly changed from her past as a fetish priestess and was preaching the true word of God, the constant backlash she received from others led to her quiet exit from the church.
She said the insults she faced from people in her neighbourhood and on public transport after church made her uncomfortable and emotionally drained.
Reacting on social media, Agradaa said those who speak ill of her and discourage others from worshipping at her church will face the wrath of God, adding that a soul has been lost to the kingdom of God because of their actions.
She further directed her words at media personalities and presenters who constantly condemn her, saying their criticism does more harm than good.
In a proverb-laced response, she added, “Whether she is in or out, it does not make the church full or empty,” signalling that her ministry will continue regardless.
