2022 World Cup: Black Stars need Jordan, Kyereh and Kudus to be at their best to succeed – Prince Tagoe

Former Ghana striker, Prince Tagoe expects three players to lead the Black Stars’ charge at the upcoming FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

The Black Stars have come under pressure after the friendly games against Brazil and Nicaragua.

Ghana suffered a 3-0 defeat to the five-time world champions before recording a 1-0 win over the Central American side.

However, the former Hearts of Oak striker believes with Mohammed Kudus, Jordan Ayew, and Daniel-Kofi Kyereh at their best will help the Stars excel.

“Black Stars can only make a positive impact at the World Cup if Kudus Mohammed, Jordan Ayew, and Daniel Kofi-Kyereh can give Ghana 80% of their performance at club level,” he said on Angel TV.

Ghana hopes to advance from Group H, which includes Portugal, South Korea, and Uruguay.

Ghana will open their tournament campaign against Portugal on November 24, followed by South Korea four days later, and Uruguay on December 2.
