2023/24 Ghana Premier League Week 26: Match Report – Medeama SC 1-0 Legon Cities

Reigning champions, Medeama SC, secured a crucial 1-0 victory against Legon Cities during their Ghana Premier League encounter in week 26.

The showdown unfolded at the Akoon Park on a Sunday afternoon. Despite Medeama SC starting in the 6th position with 36 points and Legon Cities in the 13th place with 32 points, both teams fiercely contested control over the midfield from the outset.

As the first half progressed, neither team managed to breach the opponent’s defence. However, the deadlock broke in the 55th minute when Kamaradini Mamudu netted a goal for the Yellow and Mauve.
