2023 CHAN qualifiers: Nigeria awaits Ghana in final round of qualifiers

The local Nigeria Super Eagles team is waiting to face the winner of the clash between Ghana and Benin in the qualifiers for the 2023 CHAN tournament.

The Ghana team nicknamed the Black Galaxies have missed the last two editions of the CHAN tournament.

Keen on representing in the next edition, a strong team assembled by new head coach Annor Walker is in camp with players preparing for the playoffs.

Over the past weekend, the gaffer led the team to record a big 3-0 win against Benin.

Now carrying a big advantage, the Black Galaxies are gearing up to travel to Benin for the reverse fixture.

Although that tie is not over, the Nigerian local national is looking forward to a clash against Ghana in the final round of the qualifiers.

As a result, Enugu Rangers skipper Tope Olusesi who is part of the team has called on the Nigeria Football Federation to see to it that the team is given enough time to camp before taking on rivals Ghana.

The 2023 CHAN tournament is scheduled to be staged in Algeria.
