Adele attacked by bat

Adele was left panicked when a bat attacked one of her audience members at a show in Mexico City.

Adele was left terrified when a bat attacked a crowd member during her concert.

The 28-year-old singer couldn’t believe her eyes when one of the winged mammals dove down and pounced on one of her fans after she performed ‘Don’t You Remember’ at the Palacio de Los Deportes in Mexico City, Mexico on Monday (14.11.16).

The panicked star shrieked: “Is that a f***ing bat? Oh my God! There’s a f***ing bat! It landed right on your head! Welcome to Mexico. It’s really good to be here – but a f***ing bat!?’ ”

Fortunately, Adele – who has four-year-old son Angelo with partner Simon Konecki – calmed down enough to recount a story of when a bat flew into her house, leaving her equally as terrified.

Speaking to the crowd, she said: “One time a bat got into my house. I was on my own, it was very scary.”

Adele has now wrapped her live dates for 2016 but she is due to return to the stage in Australia and New Zealand in 2017 and will round off her tour in support of her third album ‘25’ at Wembley Stadium in London, which is her hometown.

The ‘Rolling In The Depp’ hitmaker might have to be on the lookout for more bats Down Under as they are around 75 different species in Australia.

In June, it was reported Aussie coastal town Batemans Bay had been taken over by tens of thousands of large bats – 140,000 of the mammals were there in April – robbing locals of their sleep and taking down the electricity supply.

The New South Wales town is near Melbourne where Adele will play.
