Akyem Abuakwa Traditional Council to protest against NDC leadership over abusive statements

The Akyem Abuakwa Traditional Council is set to protest to register its displeasure with the leadership of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) for the ‘abusive and provocative statements’ made by the NDC’s Ashanti Regional Secretary, Kwame Zu.

This comes in the wake of news suggesting members in the Ashanti region are gaining notoriety in abusing the leadership of the party on radio and social media given the least opportunity.

The protest is scheduled for Monday, 23rd September,  2019 at the forecourt of the Panin fie, Kyebi.

The Akyem Abuakwa Traditional Council’s State Secretary, D.M. Ofori Atta in a signed statement called on the various stakeholders to provide the needed security for the planned action.
