Former Minister of Trade and Industry, Alan Kyerematen, on Thursday, June 8, launched the ‘Partnership for Power’ donation platform, to support his presidential ambition.

The platform aims to facilitate contributions through crowdfunding, providing individuals and organizations with a transparent avenue to support Kyerematen’s bid for the upcoming presidential primaries.

During the launch event at the Accra International Conference Centre, the NPP Flagbearer Aspirant highlighted the need for collective efforts in driving positive change and a reliable platform to channel donations effectively to that cause.

He expressed his gratitude to his supporters, including private sector operators, non-governmental organizations, and individuals who attended the launch and had already pledged their support.

Kyerematen urged more stakeholders to join the initiative, emphasizing that every donation, regardless of its size, would contribute to his mission of securing victory in the New Patriotic Party (NPP) presidential primaries and implementing the Great Transformation Plan (GTP) for national development.

He reassured his supporters that he would fulfill his promises and bring real development to Ghana when he becomes President.

The former Minister envisioned a future where the welfare of the people of Ghana would be at the center of his administration.

He encouraged individuals to contribute, even if it was as little as one cedi, as it would be an investment towards the betterment of the country.

Kyerematen, who previously ran for the NPP flagbearer position in 2007, expressed his determination to lead the party and implement impactful projects nationwide when he eventually becomes President.
