Algerian club USM Algers unveil new signing Kwame Poku

Algerian Premier League outfit, USM Algers have officially unveiled their new signing Kwame Poku.

The Ghanaian forward signed a four-and-a-half-year deal with the North African club after a successful medical test on Monday.

The 21-year old’s inclusion is expected to provide a squad boost for the Red and Blacks in the ongoing 2020/2021 football season.

He joined USM Algers from Ghana Premier League giant Asante Kotoko, where he had a successful half-season spell since joining from division one side, Nkoranza Warriors.

Poku before leaving the Porcupine Warriors establish himself as top scorer award contender after scoring seven goals in 16 appearances in the Ghana Premier league for Asante Kotoko.

Last month, the 21-year-old made his Black Stars debut in the 1-1 draw with South Africa in Johannesburg in a penultimate AFCON qualifier.
