Andre Ayew officially becomes free agent as tall list of clubs express interest
Ghana captain Andre Ayew has officially become a free agent following the expiration of his contract with Nottingham Forest.
The 33-year-old player’s contract came to an end last night, making him available for negotiations with interested clubs.
Ayew has garnered significant attention from several clubs around the world, with Qatar, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), France, and Greece expressing their interest in acquiring his services.
Additionally, there is also a possibility of late interest coming from Saudi Arabia.
Andre joined Premier League side Nottingham Forest on a free transfer from UAE-based club Al-Sadd SC on February 2.
However, his time at Forest was limited, as he only managed to accumulate 305 minutes of playing time in the Premier League.
During his 13 appearances for the team, Ayew was deployed in various positions, including three games as a left winger, three as a center forward, three as a right midfielder, two as a left midfielder, one as a second striker, and one as a right winger.
