Asante Kotoko fly back to Ghana after Dubai Preseason in an Islamic fashion

Ghanaian giants Asante Kotoko SC have left Dubai in an Islamic fashion in the early hours of Friday en route back to Ghana after wrapping up their preseason in the United Arab Emirates.

The Porcupine Warriors spent two weeks in the Asian country where they held series of training sessions and also engaged in some friendly games which happened mostly under floodlights due to the weather conditions in the country especially during the day.

The team honoured three matches with lower-tier sides during their stay in Dubai but failed to record a victory in any, having drawn two and lost one.

The defeat happened in their first game against Al Hilal United- a game they lost narrowly before sharing spoils with Liwa FC and Laliga HPC Academy having had their game against Atletico Arabia which was supposed to take place last Tuesday cancelled due to some technical reasons.

Coach Prosper Narteh Ogum definitely has got glimpses of what to anticipate from his players so far especially the new additions and will by now be getting his starting XI for the upcoming campaign.

Asante Kotoko are expected to touch down at the Kotoka International Airport later today to continue with preparations towards the 2021/22 Ghana Premier League which commences in a week time.

They travel to Dawu to face Dreams FC in their opening fixture of the new season
