Asante Kotoko sign Patrick Asmah from Italian side Atalanta
Kumasi Asante Kotoko has completed the signing of former Ghana U20 star, Patrick Asmah, on a free transfer.
The 24-year-old who was recently released by Serie A side, Atalanta Bergamo becomes the third high profile signing of the Porcupine Warriors after the earlier inclusion of former Ashgold defender, Yusif Mubarak, and Emmanuel Keyeke of Karela United.
The Kumasi-based club took to its official Twitter account to announce the signing of the former B.A United left-back after a successful medical.

Asmah joined Atalanta in 2016 from Ghanaian second-tier club B.A United but failed to break into the first team of the Italian club.
Atalanta BC released him after his loan spell at FK Senica, where he scored three times with five assists in 25 matches.
His contract details are still held on by Kotoko, who are looking to make a mark at next season’s CAF Champions League.
