Asiedu Nketia questions Kweku Baako’s role in NPP Gov’t

General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Johnson Asiedu Nketia is wondering what position  Kweku Baako, Editor-in-Chief of the New Crusading Guide Newspaper, holds  in the Akufo-Addo-led government.

According to Asiedu Nketia, though Kweku Baako is a journalist and has to hunt for information, he almost always get access to information even before the President and other state security agencies get hold of it.

“He seems to know and have an idea about every and anything that happens in this country…..he was the same person that came to tell us how  he has seen a video of how National Security operatives arrested alleged coup plotters when that evidence had not even been presented against the plotters. In which position did he get preview to such video,” he quizzed.

In an interview monitored by The Ghana Report, Aseidu Nketia said, the only impression he gets from Kweku Baako’s panache when discussing national issues is as if “government cooks up stories for selected media men to propagate it”.

“I hope I am wrong though but that is the only meaning I can read into this…. He should tell us which position he holds in this government,” he said.
