The Chiefs and the People of Zuarungu in Ghana’s Upper East region celebrated the annual N’daakoya Festival on Saturday, December 2, 2023.
The event was well attended by dignitaries.
In his address to the people, the MP for Bolgatanga Central, Dr Dominic Ayine, appealed to the youth to desist from alcohol and drugs as both hamper their personal and community development.
He made a donation of Ghs60,000 towards the completion of the Zuarungu market and an additional Ghs500 to the best performing traditional dancer at this year’s N’daakoya festival.
