By any means necessary, GH artistes must make their music heard globally -Shatta Wale
Renowned Ghanaian Dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale is urging his colleague musicians to put in the necessary work and efforts to make global impact with their music.
According to him, there are a number of challenges that have impeded the rise of Ghanaian artistes on the competitive global stage among which include lack of conducive policies, infrastructure, and resources.
The incoming crooner explained that these prevailing challenges have prevented major global music industries from investing and partnering in Ghana’s music industry.
Shatta Wale raised these concerns in a Facebook post today, calling for the urgent need to improve regulatory frameworks, invest in modern infrastructure, and strengthen intellectual property rights and licensing to solve these issues to change the present narrative.
“It is time for us to work together to create an enabling environment that attracts major global investments and propels our music industry to unprecedented heights, contributing to our national identity and economy,” part of the post reads.
