Coach Wilson Burton Asare named Asante Kotoko assistant coach

Ghana Premier League powerhouse Asante Kotoko have named Wilson Burton Asare as the second assistant coach.

He joins a technical team made up of head coach Prosper Narteh Ogum and first assistant coach David Ocloo.

Coach Wilson Asare brings his expertise to the team as they prepare for the upcoming 2023/24 Ghana Premier League season.

With a CAF License B coaching qualification, Wilson Asare boasts a wealth of experience in the domestic topflight, including leading Inter Allies to their first title in 2010.

Asante Kotoko’s players have reconvened to initiate preparations for the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League campaign. Their pre-season activities will kick off on Tuesday, August 8, at Beposo in the Ashanti

The Poccupine Warriors’ first fixture of the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League season will see them face league returnees Hearts of Lions at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi.
