Coronavirus: Rwanda closes down churches,schools and all other social centers

 

Rwanda has joined the league of nations taking extreme measures to control the spread of the deadly coronavirus.

The government of Rwanda, through its ministry of health, has suspended all social gathering because of the widespread of the novel coronavirus.

In a statement sighted by theghanareport.com, all churches, schools and other public places have been asked to shut down effective Monday, March 16, 2020.

“Large gathering such as wedding and sporting events are to be postponed and the number of people attending burial ceremonies should be minimized” the statement read.

The Ministry urged citizens to remain indoors and practice personal hygiene.
