Dreams FC coach Karim Zito reveals aspirations for Ghana Premier League

Dreams FC coach Abdul Karim Zito has opened up on his aspiration for the Ghana Premier League as the season nears an end.

The Still Believe lads are yet to live up to expectations in the Ghanaian top-flight despite their exploit in the CAF Confederations Cup campaign.

Zito and his charges are in the semifinals of the Confederation Cup and will battle it out with Egyptian giants Zamalek for the final spot.

After beating Kotoko on Sunday, Zito says his aspiration at the moment is to ensure Dreams FC survive relegation.

“What we have to do now is to ensure we are not relegated. We have to enhance our position in the league and plan for the next season” he said.

With 31 points, Dreams FC find themselves in 14th position on the Ghana Premier League standings after 26 games so far.

Dreams FC were supposed to travel to Accra to face the Great Olympics but the game has been postponed due to their Africa campaign.

The Still Believe lads will depart Ghana to Egypt for the first leg of the Confederation Cup game against Zamalek on Sunday.
