The son of General Overseer of Action Chapel International, Archbishop Nicholas Duncan-Williams has apologised to his father after he had a social media emotional meltdown.

Daniel Duncan-Williams, in a tweet, described the Bishop, as the “best father anyone could ever wish for”.

His post read, “Dear daddy @ArchbishopNick I would to Humbly apologize for the false accusations… You are the best father anyone could ever wish for. Thank you for loving me even through all the trials and tribulations”.

The young man in his numerous videos which were widely circulated on social media accused his father of being a demon because he paid police personnel to arrest him after he threatened to leave their home.

Daniel shared nude videos of himself and engaged in sexual acts with women.

In spite of this, the renowned man of God also took to his twitter page to request for prayers for his son. He attributed his son’s actions to a bipolar relapse.

According to the family, Daniel had been battling the disease for the past six years.

Archbishop Nicholas Duncan-Williams said the failure of his son to continue his prescribed medication causes him to relapse.

“The significance of psychological health has become very personal to Archbishop Nicholas Duncan-Williams and his family. Six years ago, Archbishop’s son, Daniel Duncan-Williams, was diagnosed with acute bipolar disease.

“Through the family, Daniel has undergone the very best medical interventions, treatments, and hospitalizations. Yet, he still experiences relapses when he does not continue on his prescribed medication,” the statement said.

In a separate tweet, Archbishop Nicholas Duncan-Williams asked for prayers for his son’s healing.

“The Archbishop says “this is a test of his faith. In his own words; “I acknowledge the situation my son is in, and I still love him…please pray for us…. “Love covers a multitude of sins.” 1 Peter 4:8

“The Archbishop and his family continue to stand firm in their faith believing God for Daniel’s full deliverance, healing, and restoration. We ask that you please respect their privacy as they navigate through this trying time”.
