The Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO) has declared three persons wanted for various criminal activities.

A notice published on EOCO’s Facebook page on Tuesday, June 6 identified the two as Nosa Justice Iyoha and Desmond Obukohwo.

They are both wanted for the alleged offences of defrauding by false pretence and money laundering.

EOCO urged the public to provide information of their whereabouts to their head office or report to the nearest police station.

This follows a similar notice published by EOCO in May 2023, which declared three persons wanted for various fraudulent activities.

The wanted persons are Ezekiel Mensah Otoo, Derrick Obeng, also known as Chilling and Nicholas Gyekye.

Ezekiel was wanted for allegedly stealing and involvement in SIM swap fraud, while Derrick was wanted for alleged stealing, defrauding by false pretence and money laundering.

However, the publication did not state the crime Nicholas committed.

The Office had secured the sentencing of two persons to 12 months imprisonment for conspiracy to steal, stealing and money laundering.

They were part of a criminal syndicate based in Assin Fosu that was arrested in April 2022 by the Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO).

According to a statement by EOCO, they were involved in mobile banking application fraud and sim swap fraud.
