A man who paraded himself as a fire service person has been arrested.
The suspect believed to be in his twenties was beaten to a pulp for stealing palm oil and palm kernel at Abeadze Towoboase in the Central Region.
He was caught on Wednesday dawn (March 15, 2023) with ten gallons of stolen palm oil and palm kernel from a palm oil mill.
The suspect failed to produce his identity card or state which Fire station he works with during interrogation by residents, kasapafmonline.com reported.
He was then monitored closely by the residents until he was caught leaving the palm oil mill.
The fake officer pleaded for forgiveness.
He was later taken to the Mankessim Divisional Police Station for further investigation.
He will be processed for court after the police conclude their investigation.
