Three persons have been confirmed dead following an accident at Ohene Nkwanta in the Asante Akim Central district of the Ashanti region.
The incident occurred around 8:00 pm on Friday, May 3, 2024, involving a collision between a DAF truck with registration number AW 163-18 and a mini Nissan bus GG 2611-23 en route from Kumasi to Konongo.
Sadly, the victims, comprising two males and a female, were occupants of the Nissan bus, while the driver of the DAF truck sustained injuries.
Authorities moved swiftly, depositing the bodies at the Konongo Government Hospital mortuary for further procedures.
ADO Frank Sakye Owusu, the Public Relations Officer of Konongo Divisional Fire Service, confirmed the unfortunate incident.
