Fred Pappoe commends Kurt Okraku led FA

Ex-Vice President of the Ghana Football Association, Fred Pappoe is full of praise for the Kurt Okraku’s led football administration.

Pappoe believes the new Ghana Football Association is doing well despite the suspension of football activities due to the coronavirus outbreak.

It can be recalled that the FA has been under immense pressure following the halting of football activities, resulting in several league clubs agitating over the lack of funds to maintain their teams.

But Pappoe, in an interview with Love FM insisted the FA is on course and doing what is expected off.

“They are not off track. We must appreciate that we are operating in an environment which is unprecedented.”

“Nobody has got the experience of managing football in a pandemic era before, nobody in this world,”

“So definitely, they are doing what needs to be done.

“At any point in time, there’s always room for more, but I think in terms of being on course, they are doing well.”

“You will naturally make one or two mistakes here and there, but you correct yourself and still keep going.

“I’ll say that they are doing well, they are doing their best.” He said.

Discussions are currently ongoing concerning the future of current football season.
