George Afriyie, former GFA Vice President, is weighing his options in local football administration after a setback to his presidential ambitions.

Following the Court of Arbitration for Sport’s (CAS) decision to uphold his disqualification, Afriyie is uncertain about his future.

In an interview, he stated that it’s too early to decide on his next move, with the next GFA election still three years away.

While focusing on his passions and staying open to opportunities, Afriyie hasn’t ruled out a future presidential bid, saying “Nobody knows tomorrow… why not?”

His previous bid was derailed due to an ineligible candidate endorsing his form, leading to his disqualification, which he has since accepted.”

Despite appealing the decision, both the Appeals Committee and CAS upheld the ruling, leading Afriyie to accept the outcome and move forward.

“I just gave my opinion, and I said per what the CAS ruling is, I have accepted it, so we move,” Afriyie affirmed.
