GFA lifts transfer ban on Asante Kotoko
The Player Status committee of the Ghana Football Association has lifted the transfer ban placed on premier league giants, Kumasi Asante Kotoko.
The Kumasi based club were after the committee’s ruling in January banned from effecting new signings until June 2022.
This was after the club was found guilty of breaching players contracts on a number of occasions, an allegation the premier league club always denied.
Following a successful appeal by the club, the Player Status Committee decided to lift the ban to allow the Porcupine Warriors make player purchases in the second transfer window.
The second window opened on February 16 and will close at 11:59 pm on Thursday, March 18, 2021.
