GFA provides update on Domestic Transfer and Second Registration Window

The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has reiterated that the Domestic Transfer Window will be opened on Sunday, January 1, 2023.

In an official statement, the football governing body added that the second Registration Window will also open on Tuesday, January 10.

“Clubs are kindly informed that the Second Registration Window for the 2022/23 season will be opened from 00:01 am on Tuesday, January 10, 2023.

“The Registration Window will close at 23:59 pm on Friday, February 10, 2023,” part of the Ghana FA statement said on Thursday.

It added, “However, the International and Domestic Transfer Window will open from 00:01 am on Sunday, January 1, 2023, and close at 23:59 pm Tuesday, January 31, 2023.

“All Clubs are to take note accordingly and transfer their players through the ITMS /DTMS before the transfer deadline on Tuesday, January 31, 2023.

“Clubs must also register their players in the FIFA Connect when the registration window opens on Tuesday, January 10, 2023, and before it closes at 23:59 pm on Friday, February 10, 2023.”

Meanwhile, the Ghana Premier League is continuing this Friday. Games on matchday 10 will continue until Monday, January 2, 2023.
