Ghana has dropped two places on the latest FIFA/ Coca-Cola ranking for the month of October released by FIFA.

The Black Stars dropped two places from 46th on the World Ranking for the month of September to the 48th position this month.

A total of 1439 points was accrued by the country’s senior team in the latest ranking released by the world football governing body.

The Black Stars in the recent international break had two friendlies matches in Turkey to prepare them for an upcoming AFCON qualifier against Sudan.

The first game against West African counterpart Mali ended in a 0-3 defeat but the Stars were able to make amends with their 5-1 thrashing of Asian champions Qatar.

The defeat to Mali saw the Black Stars lose some points on the ranking and accrued just one point in the win against Qatar leading to the drop.
