Ghanaian musician based in China releases peace songs for 2020 polls

Gospel musician, Ebenodi, has released a peace themed song ahead of the 2020 general elections.

Ebenodi like many Ghanaians has responded to calls for a collective voice to preach the message of peace and love before, during, and after the polls.

“I wrote the ‘WE NEED PEACE’ song just to tell the whole world especially nations that will be going to the polls this year that nothing can be substituted for peace,” he said in an interview.

The artist, born Ebenezer Cudjoe, is currently based in China but hails from the Western Region of Ghana, a mining town, Tarkwa.

He started a professional music career in 2018.

Ebenodi is currently promoting four of his singles with titles “We Need Peace”, “Blessing In Disguise”, “Mensuro” (I’m Not Afraid) on his YouTube channel.

He also has four songs in Chinese which he wrote when he was studying at Shenzhen University in China. The songs are yet to be recorded.

Ebenodi enjoys songwriting and has over the years wrote songs of various genres for some artists.
