Bofoakwa Tano FC’s Saaka Dauda has been named the NASCO player of the month for September in the ongoing 2023/24 Ghana Premier League season.
The Ghana FA announced via their official social media platforms.
Dauda was adjudged the winner following his impressive performance during the month under review, scoring two goals out of three matches and receiving two most valuable player awards.
He was among a five-man shortlist for the award alongside teammate Elijah Addai, Stephen Amankona of Berekum Chelsea FC, Evans Wiredu of Karela FC and Baba Hamadu Musa of FC Samartex.
Coach of the Month
The GFA also announced Frimpong Manso, Coach of Tano Bofoakwa, as winner of the NASCO Coach of the Month award for September.
Manso picked the award ahead following his side’s sterling performance in the month of winning two of the three matches played with one ending in a draw, recording three goals in the process and conceding one.
The former Ghana defender and under-17 coach beat competitions from other coaches such as Annor Walker of Great Olympics, and Samuel Paa Kwasi Fabin of Legon Cities.
Both winners are expected to receive a NASCO television each from Electroland Ghana Limited.
