Multi hyphenate talent Ice-T is slated to receive his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in just a few days.
According to the Walk of Fame’s official website, the rapper-turned-Law & Order: Special Victims Unit star is scheduled to have his star installed on February 17. He has since reacted to the news with a post on his Instagram account, acknowledging the unlikeliness of his story.
“When I think back about all the times I was arrested in Hollywood…. This is a trip..” he captioned under a picture of himself.
Hollywood Walk of Fame producer Ana Martinez told ET that “Ice-T is a cultural icon and a success both in the music and television industries. His fans will be very excited to see their favorite performer placed on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.”
Ice-T’s Walk of Fame ceremony will reportedly include appearances by fellow rapper Chuck D as well as Law & Order producer Dick Wolf.
