Keche expresses support for Asamoah Gyan following his divorce

Multiple Award Winning Ghanaian Music Duo, Keche has thrown their weight behind Ghana’s Football Legend, Asamoah Gyan, popularly known as Baby Jet, amidst his recent divorce saga.

In an interview, the ‘No dulling’ Hitmakers made up of Joshua Kojo Ampah and Andrew Kofi Cudjoe shared their thoughts on the recent court ruling that granted Gifty Gyan, Asamoah’s ex-wife, a divorce after a three-year legal battle.

On October 31, 2023, an Accra Court brought the 3-year legal battle between Asamaoh Gyan and his wife, Gifty Gyan to closure by ruling in favor of the Ghanaian football Legend, allowing him to be a single man again.

According to the ruling, Gifty Gyan was given ownership of Asamoah Gyan’s UK mansion, a four-bedroom house in Spintex, Accra, as well as all other properties acquired by the player for her.

Keche expressed their solidarity with their long-standing friend Asamoah Gyan during this difficult time and encouraged him to accept the court’s verdict gracefully.

“Marriage is a beautiful thing. Difficult times may occur although we don’t wish it for anyone. However, couples should learn how to tolerate their love for each other”, they said.

They emphasized that Asamoah Gyan is only fulfilling his responsibilities as a father by taking care of his biological children in the light of a divorce.

The duo also acknowledged that divorce is an unfortunate reality that can happen to anyone and urged people to approach such situations with tolerance and maturity.
