He also dedicated the win to the late MP John Kumah and promised to be a good representative for the people of Ejisu if voted as MP.

The party held the parliamentary primary to choose a candidate after the demise of John Ampontuah Kumah, the former Member of Parliament for Ejisu.

There were intense campaign activities within the week as aspirants engaged delegates to seek their votes.

However, the party cautioned both aspirants and delegates to strictly adhere to the election guidelines and reiterated its call for them not to camp delegates.

The by-election is slated for April 30, 2024.
