Late Black Stars striker Junior Agogo celebrated on his 44th birthday

On a day filled with nostalgia and fond memories, football fans around the world join in a heartfelt celebration as they remember the late Black Stars striker, Junior Agogo, on what would have been his 44th birthday.

Though no longer with us, Agogo’s legacy continues to shine brightly, leaving an indelible mark on the beautiful game and the hearts of those who witnessed his talent and passion on the pitch.

As the football community pays tribute to this remarkable player, his inspiring journey and unforgettable moments are cherished and honored, reminding us that his spirit will forever live on in the hearts of fans and players.

The Ghana Football Association, PFAG, Premier League club Nottingham Forest and others celebrated the late striker.

Agogo played for Ghana from 2006 to 2009, he became a fan favorite following his outstanding performance at the 2008 Africa Cup of Nations, which Ghana hosted.

He scored 12 goals for the Black Stars of Ghana in 27 appearances.  Agogo died at age 40 on August 2019 in London.
